Copyright, Licensing, and Archiving Policy

Healer Journal of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences is an open-access journal and copyrights of published articles are retained by the author(s).

1. Copyright

Authors retain full copyright of their published work. By submitting to the journal, authors confirm that:

  • The article is original, has not been published previously in any peer-reviewed journal, and is not under review elsewhere.

  • The work does not infringe any existing copyright, intellectual property rights, or third-party ownership.

  • The article contains no unlawful, defamatory, or inappropriate material and does not violate any confidentiality agreements or contractual obligations.

  • All authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript and consent to its submission and publication.

2. License to Publish

Upon acceptance for publication, authors agree that their article will be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

Under this license:

  • Anyone may share, copy, distribute, adapt, transform, and build upon the article for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

  • Appropriate credit must be given to the original authors and the journal.

  • A link to the license must be provided, and any changes must be clearly indicated.

  • No additional permissions are required for reuse covered under CC BY 4.0.

3. Author Warranties

Authors affirm that:

  • They are the sole creators and copyright holders of the submitted work.

  • All factual statements in the article are accurate to the best of their knowledge and consistent with current scholarly standards.

  • Any methods, procedures, formulas, or instructions in the article are safe and will not cause harm if followed correctly.

  • All necessary permissions for copyrighted materials, data, or third-party content have been obtained prior to submission.

4. Open Access Policy

The journal provides immediate open access to all published content. All articles are freely available to read, download, copy, distribute, and reuse, in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license.

No subscription fees, access charges, or paywalls apply.

5. Self-Archiving and Deposit Policy (HJPRS Deposit Policy)

The journal permits authors to deposit all versions of their manuscripts in repositories without embargo. The following versions may be archived:

  • Preprint – original version submitted prior to peer review.

  • Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) – peer-reviewed version accepted for publication.

  • Published Article / Version of Record (VoR) – final published version.

Permitted Deposit Locations

Authors may upload and store these versions:

  • On personal or departmental websites

  • In institutional or company repositories

  • In subject-specific repositories

  • In open access research platforms

  • For internal educational use, training, or teaching purposes

  • In grant applications and funding submissions

Proper citation of the final published article is encouraged wherever applicable.

6. Third-Party Content

If the article contains copyrighted third-party material (figures, tables, images, datasets, etc.), the author must obtain formal permission from the copyright holder before publication. Documentation of such permissions must be submitted with the manuscript upon request.
